FIRM PARTNERS FUTA ON PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

DAVOS Premier Company Nigeria Limited, an agricultural processing company with expertise in Research and Development located in Ikeja, Lagos, has entered into partnership with the Technology Park and Innovation Centre of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. The major plank of the arrangement is the “collaboration to establish academic and scholarly cooperative linkage to promote scientific and technological development”.

At a formal meeting to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Fuwape, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development), Professor Philip Oguntunde, the Chief Executive Officer of Davos, Dr. Dare Ayeni said to move Nigeria forward, it is important to have home grown technology for home grown purpose. He thanked the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Joseph Fuwape for considering Davos for the MoU, saying it was the beginning of a profitable relationship.

Professor Oguntunde said FUTA with its team of researchers will ensure that the partnership with the firm produces quantifiable progress for the betterment of both organizations and the country.   He commended the effort of the Director, Technology Park and Incubation Centre, Professor Sunday Oluyamo and his team for facilitating the MoU and encouraged them to keep the good job going.
