Elizade VC Seeks Better Collaboration with FUTA

The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Elizade University Ilara Mokin, Prof. Olukayode Amund has paid a working visit to the University Management as part of efforts to strengthen the existing relationship between both institutions. Professor Amund, a Professor of Microbiology with specialization in Petroleum/ Environmental Microbiology, is the 3rd substantive Vice Chancellor of Elizade University. Amund commended the mentorship role played by FUTA to Elizade University over the years in the areas of manpower support and collaborations.

He solicited the continued support and cooperation of FUTA in enabling Elizade to take its place among reputable institutions of higher learning.  He said, “The University is in its stage of infancy and needs help in becoming a world class University in learning and research.  We have a future together in this enterprise”. 

In his response the Vice Chancellor, FUTA, Professor Joseph Fuwape commended the Vice Chancellor for the visit and promised that FUTA will sustain its support for the mutual benefits of both institutions. 

He said “We believe that excellent  quality of education will impact our youth greatly so we must as matter of urgency collaborate in   areas of learning, research to enable them  succeed”.

The visiting Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the Registrar, Mr. Omololu Adegbenro, the Librarian, Dr. Christopher Nkiko and the Bursar, Mr. Samuel Ajeigbe.
