The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA has appointed Mr. Kehinde Oladeji as the Acting Bursar of the Institution effective Thursday, August 1st, 2024 following the completion of the tenure of the estwhile Bursar Mr. Julius Adeshoba on 31st July, 2024.
Oladeji, a native of Akure, attended the Akure Secondary Commercial School and proceeded to Ondo State College of Arts and Science for his Higher School Certificate in 1982 before proceeding to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting which he obtained in June 1987.
He topped it with a Post Graduate Diploma from the then Ondo State University in 1995 and a Master of Business Administration from the Federal University of Technology, Akure in 1998.
He started his working career as Finance Officer II with the Nigerian Agriculture and Cooperative Bank and rose to become Assistant Manager between 1989 and 1999. He worked as a Zonal Manager, Finance, Nigerian Institute of Management 1999-2003 before joining FUTA as a Chief Accountant.
In FUTA, through dint of hard work and professionalism, he rose to the rank of Deputy Bursar in 2009. Mr. Oladeji also served as Bursar, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo between December 2010 and December 2015 and Bursar, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa between March 2017 and March 2022, while on leave of absence from FUTA.
Oladeji, a Chartered Accountant, is a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Management and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN.
Oladeji, 64, is married and blessed with children.
